Schnelle Abt.110

Hi I have a replacement soldbuch to a guy in Schnelle.Abt.110./4.PZ.JG.KP.In 1943.In 1944-Stamm-Kp.Pz-JG-E.u.A.-Abt 20,from what I can find out I think was part of the 30th Infantry Div.But would like to know where they served and in what capacity,any help is very welcomed.

Hi Steven,

From what I can gather, Aufklärungs-Abteilung 110 was redesignated Schnelle-Abteilung 110 at the beginning of 1942 (at which time 1. and 2. Kompanien were given to Panzerjäger-Abteilung 110. On 1.6.1943 the unit was again redesignated- this time to Divisions-Bataillon 101, and then yet again on 26.7.1943 to Divisions-Füsilier-Bataillon 101. The unit was destroyed in 6.1944 in the area of Minsk.
