I am trying to understand this stamp.

6./
= 6. Batterie or Kolonne?

A.R.50
= Artillerie Regiment 50

I
= I. Abteilung

What I don't understand is the "I" stamp under it. I believe it means the I. Abteilung. But the 6. Batterie or Kolonne was subjected to the II Abteilung?

Or am I completly wrong... Thanks in advance.

6./A.R. 50 means 6.Batterie, Artillerie-Regiment 50.
6.Batterie was indeed part of II.Bataillon.

But in this case i assume the "I" is the size.
