    Oberst Thelen Reichsluftfahrtministerium - info needed

    Hi to all,

    I`d need more infos about

    Robert Thelen (air plane constructor in WW1 & test pilot in Berlin)

    Since the mid of 1930s a member of the Reichsluftfahrtministerium
    in 1944 Oberst (Colonel) - than retired.

    Would be nice, to see a good foto with uniform of him and
    are there any infos about his decorations/his Luftwaffe career

    I am nearly sure, that he got the war merit cross(es), LSC/LSM & may be
    some flower medals.

      HI thanks a lot.
      I got all infos i need.
      He was Flieger-Hauptstabsingenieur (Fliegerkorps) it`s the same rank as Oberst.
      I also got some photos.

        Hello !

        Just out of curiosity :
        In the Larry de Zeng list of Lw officers, there is a Thelen (no forename mentioned) :
        THELEN, ? . 03.42 Oberstingenieur and Leiter Verbindungsstelle GL Griechenland
        (I think GL is for Generalluftzeugmeister ?!)

        Is this the same man (at least the rank could match and also he is an Ingenieur) ?

          Yes, i think it is the same man.
          You can find him also at "Wiki".

          He worked for the Reichsluftfahrtministerium.
