sturmgeschutz Brigade 325.

Looking for any information on this unit,I know it was in Finnland,but would like to know what tanks it used, also where else it served, I have the wehrpass to a soldier who served in the unit,any help is appriciated.

Sturmgeschütz-Abteilung 325

Formed 24.11.1943 in Burg, Wehrkreis XI, with 3 Batteries; Renamed Sturmgeschütz-Brigade 325 on 14.2.1944.

Under: Army troopos: 1943 in the west as a personal unitt; March 1944 to Altengrabow eqipped with Sturmgeschützen; June 1944 with 8 Armee (IV. Rumanian Korps) in the south Ukraine; 1945 (after
replenshment) with 8. Armee in der Slovakia.

Replacement: Stug. Ers.Abt. 600 in Deutsch-Eylau, Wehrkreis XX

Is this a wehrpass Weitze had for sale last week?

The brigade never saw service in Finland however some personnel from stug batterie 742 (perhaps even 741 but i'm not sure) which did serve in Finland did make their way into this brigade it seems.

Stug units active in Finland at one time or another were:

Stug batterie 741
Stug batterie 742
Stug Abt. 1122
Stug Brigade 303

It was on a list here Simon....the guy served with Stug batterie 742 prior to 325.
