Georg Wippern (geb, 26/5/1909; gest. 1993) SS-Nr. 118 449.
Wippern joined the NSDAP and SS in 1932.
He was a member of SS-Germania. In 1938, he was 2nd then 1st Verwaltungs Offizier for the Regiment.
As SS-H'Stuf. he was commander of Bäckerei Komp. SS-VT Div. in September 1940.
Attached to the SS-Führungshauptamt, he transferred to Lublin on the Staff of HSSPF Ost in 1942 and was appoointed as SS-Standortverwaltungs Chef.
Post-war, he was not prosecuted, but must have undergone de-Nazification proceedings. He was employed as a customs officer in Saarbrücken, and lived in Aachen, Hanover and Bonn.
He died in Bonn, 1993 (date not known).
He also did military service with IR38 and Art. Reg. I.
His photograph in his SSO file is damaged beyond recognition. Does anyone have a confirmed photo of Wippern, or can anyone suggest where I can access a photo please? PLEASE PM ME.
