Soldier Info Help Please

Hi Guys,
This may impossible, and a long shot, but is there any way of finding maybe a
photo, promotion, KIA/MIA, battles, etc. on this soldat from a name tag in a visor?
It Reads:
Funker
Melhorn, Rudolf
Nachrichten. Abtlg. 24
1. Komp.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
