    Help in research Generalleutnant

    hello,

I am looking for info about Generalleutnant Conrad von Cochenhausen, I know that he Committed Suicide the 13 Dec 1941 by Lyubovska, Orel, USSR and I would like to know if anybody know's why he did that at this stage of Russian campaing. He was Commander of the 134th Infantry-Division (05 Oct 1940-13 Dec 1941) when he died

    Thanks in advance

Just noticed an error on my own website. Date of death should read "13 Dec. 1941", not "13 Feb. 1941" (as you can see from the last line of his career data, where the date is correct). Sorry about any confusion.

Dear Humberto, I hate to say it but your question will be unanswered. A more appropriate question would be: is there more detailed account available about the situation when he commited suicide? (sorry, I don't have any)

Asking naively "why suicide?" is, in my humble opinion, too disrespectful for the man who had to choose to kill himself...
