Artillerie Hauptmann Tunic possibly indentified, need opinions

Hi guys, I recently purchased a Artillerie Hauptmann tunic belonging to Artillerie Regiment 7 of the 7th Infanterie Division. Doing some research on Lexicon der Wehrmacht I saw they had some of the officers listed for this specific regiment. They included four Hauptmann with all of them receiving the DKiG. While I know this isn't the complete list of Hauptmann for the Regiment, it is intriguing to me because my tunic has holes for where a DKiG should be. I did some further researching on TracesofWar and found the most likely person who my tunic could've belonged to, to be Otto Hutsteiner. He was awarded the DKiG on December 1, 1943 belonging to unit l. / Artillerie Regiment 7 / 7. Infanterie-Division. However my theory has one small problem but also an intriguing twist to it. The holes for a DKiG are a bit small.

In a recent post of mine a few members concluded that the holes might possibly for a Gallipoli Star which is completely plausible and would fit a lot better than any DKiG ever could. However I noticed that on one specific tunic from Luftwaffe Militaria that was a confirmed DKiG recipient. There were no loops for a DKiG, and the holes seemed much too small for it. This was the exact case on my tunic but I have no idea why the holes would be so small on either.

Anyways here are the pictures of my tunic and the one I referenced to. I'm curious as to your opinions on this.

ALSO, the ribbon bar is not original to the tunic but what should be noted, there are loops for it, but there are also holes for it underneath which is strange.

It's a hugely speculative exercise which, with the absence of other evidence, will only ever be a possible identification.

I count 5 possible names from AR 7 that could fit at first glance. That is of course assuming it is holes for a DKiG, that it was awarded whilst he was in AR 7 and even that all of the elements of the tunic belong together.
