    Infantry Regiment 313

    Has anyone got any information on the above unit apart from what is on lexicon-der-wehrmacht and the Die-trager des Ritterkreuzes sites? I am trying to carry out research and form a more detailed history of the unit.

    I'm also trying to find out information on any of its commanders. I know of an Oberst Karl Mellwig who was the commanding officer in at least 1943/44 who won a knights cross in '44 but beyond that I do not no any more about him or other commanders.
