    III./FJR6 in Holland

    Hello everyone,

For a paperI'm writing I'm looking for pictures of soldiers from III./FJR6 (especially 10./FJR6) whom stayed in Holland in oktober 1944. I hope that in this way I can show people the German faces of World War 2 and that also those sacrifices should not be forgotten.

Also looking for everything connected to soldiers of 10./FJR6 that were killed in Bergen op Zoom on 29.10.1944

Names of soldiers that were killed in Bergen op Zoom on the 29th(there are more soldiers killed than these 4):

Jager Heinz Claus (19) EKM 256180/118
    Gefreiter Harro Jordan (19)
    Jager Rudolf Plossl (17) EKM 63125 B/1201
Flieger Georg Pfifferling (16) from Grafentraubach

Also looking for info on soldiers that died on the 27th or 28th around Bergen op Zoom, for example:
    Oberfeldwebel Hermann Funfgeld (27) EKM 62585/4 +28.10.1944

I know the units connected with the EKM codes, but I thought I will share all the info I have.

    Greetings from the Netherlands,

    Coen

Yes Rik, sadly there was not much information there.

I also have some new names:
      Gefreiter Georg Kuhlemann + 29.10.1944 (19)
      EKM: 600/II Fl.Rgt.53
      Unit: 10./ FJR6

      Obergefreiter Rudolf Büscher +29.10.1944 (23)
      Unit: 10./ FJR6

      Obergefreiter Josef Stübe +29.10.1944 (23)
      EKM: 62774-A-439 T
      Unit: 10./ FJR6

      Gefreiter Heinz Könkler +28.10.1944 (20)
      EKM: 98.12/Fl.Rgt.53
      Unit: 9 or 10./FJR6

      Gefreiter Werner Müller +29.10.1944
      EKM: S.T.M. 1307
      Unit: 10./ FJR6

I was wondering what the EKM's of Werner Müller and Josef Stübe mean.
It looks like that at least a part of Flieger Regiment 53 was absorbed by II./FJR6 during the fights around Gheel and were partly redestributed to III./FJR6 after the units were reunited.

If anyone has any information about these soldiers, I would love to hear from you!

        Hi Coen,

Are you still searching for names? I might have some more names for you from III./FJR6 that were KIA late october/ early november in West-Brabant.

        PM is welcome.

p.s. are you the lucky bidder/winner of the sterbebild from Pfifferling?
