Identifying the place of death from a monument entry

I am not sure this is the correct Forum for this search. However, I am attempting to identify the location where my great uncle died. The information I have is from the "Gefallenendenkmaler" list at Sankt Josef im Rosental, Austria:
    Rank - Hunter
    Surname - Fugger
    Given name - Johann
    DoB - 1/31/1924
Date and Place of Death - 10.12.1943, Aleshky Yerson
    Unit - 3/Geb. Art. Rgt. 111

I've been unable to find "Aleshky Yerson" in any search.
I apologize for not being able to send a photo of the record. Any help is appreciated.

    Date of birth:31.01.1924
    Place of birth:Kanin
    Date of death/becoming missing:09.12.1943

"Johann Fugger has probably been transferred to the military cemetery Sewastopol - Gontscharnoje.

Grave site: wahrscheinlich unter den Unbekannten

Unfortunately, during our re-interment activities, we were not able to recover all the fallen German soldiers from his original burial place and transfer them to the cemetery Sewastopol - Gontscharnoje. It is, however, possible that Johann Fugger is one of the German soldiers whose remains have been recovered, but whom it has not been possible to identify, in spite of all our efforts.

The name and personal data of the person named above are also recorded in the cemetery's memorial book. You are welcome to order an extract from us.

Please note that the version on display in some cemeteries is not the current version; therefore, the name of your relative may not be recorded in it."
