It is also an interesting question. Currently, I do not know
a "book", that would cover that timeframe well with respect to
16. ID(mot.) or the units in the area between Stalingrad and
Kaukasus. It would be great, if someone could suggest .

What are you interested in, a person, some special event or
a general coverage of the whole period ?!
