I have a series of negatives that I had professional developed.
In this series is, amongst others, doctors and medics from "Der Führer" regiment.
On one of the photos, you can see a medical officer working, and in the background there is a map of France.
So, as there was no medical company in the regiment, I knwo that we are talking medical personnel from either of the battalions.
But would anyone be able to either give me some info on the whereabouts of the regiment in FRance..?.or point me to books or other sources where I can find info..?.
On this photo you can see a Hauptstürmführer und Arzt (stabsarzt, and probably Battalions- or abteilungsarzt) an oberscharführer (probably a SDG) and an Untersturmführer und Arzt (he would be Hilfsarzt).
If anyone should know who they are, please let me know.
I have the book by Weidinger about "Der Führer" but there is no info.
