Already seen in this division, but where ?? I must search.

"Blank" is for sure the Name of the Unit Commander, leading a Kampfgruppe. On 15.9.44, the 11.Pz.Div. was about to join the Lorraine Region after having lost valuable Material and personal during the Retreat throughout Southern France (battle of Montelimar) and Rhone Valley. Even if this is an historically very interesting Unit; we Collectors have few public ddocuments, no divisional history, and no "Stellenbesetzung".

Qucikly checked the usual Books to check if a "Blank", at least Hauptmann (as bat.-Leader) was highly decorated and matching, but no clew at this Time. Will serch more and inform you if something surfaces.

Interesting document anyway, even if the Wietersheim Signanture is very faded (note his Signature was often a Stamped one at that time).
