Looking for a few units

Hi I would like to find info or history for few units but without sucess.I have tried Feldgrau,Axsis and Lexikon der Wehrmacht sites but zero.If anyone can point me to right direction I would be wery gratefull.Also I am looking for good site with biografies of German WW II generals.Thanks in advance for your help.

Most of your units are Army troops (Heerestruppen) which are difficult to find info on as they were affiliated to various higher formations for specific actions or operational needs.

Bau-Bataillon 87
Formed 26.8.1939 in WK VI from RAD; 26.7.1943 became 1 turkestan. Kompanie;
Renamed Baupionier-Bataillon 87 on 19.8.1943; 29.10.1943 the 3. Kompanie also became turkestan.; 30.5.1944 1 Kompanie was submitted to Bau-Pionier-Bataillon 121 and replaced by 4./505; 3. (turk.) Kompanie became 4. Kompanie.

Formed 26.8.1939 in Wehrkreis I; From 15.12.1941 until 22.11.1942 known as Bau-Bataillon (K) with Kriegsgefangenen (PoW's); Renamed Baupionier-Bataillon 306 since 19.8.1943; 22.8. and 29.9.1943 the 3. and 4. Kompanie were converted to 3., 4. (Wolgatatari).

Sicherungs-Regiment 3
Formed 15.3.1941 in Wehrkreis II (only Stab); 29.5.1942 from formation the subordinate Radfahr-Wach-Bataillon 619 and 620 (Wehrkreis IX and X) were integrated as I. and II. Bataillon; Renamed Radfahrer-Regiment 3 since 29.9.1942 and Radfahrer-Sicherungs-Regiment 3 since 10.5.1943. 5.8.1944 disabanded, the Bataillon was integrated into 83. Can not find one! Only Panzerjäger-Abteilung 178 which was 78 Infanterie/Sturm Division !! Could have been an error in documentation!

Schwere Heeres-Panzerjäger-Abteilung 667 (8,8 cm)
Formed 19.7.1943 with Heeresgruppe Nord (18. Armee) from Stab/Panzerjäger-Abteilung 132 and Companies 1./161, 2./158 (58. ID) and 3./132.
Under: Army troops: North Russia, Kurland
Replacement: 33 Landau, WK XII

Infanterie Regiment 449, 137 Infanterie Division

What are these units mentioned in...Soldbuch, Wehrpaß, other?

Hi Ian thanks a lot that was quick and wery helpfull.Most of these units are from decorations documents.A lot of new infos and I hope I will find more.About 78 panzer jager it is a medal document and it could be mistake.I will scan that document and post it under documents forum.I hope we will find out what is wrong with document or unit.Thanks again Ian wery nice from you as allways for provding help about ewerything.
