Hauptmann Faulhammer known to have received the DKIG?

I have a named Heer Jäger tunic to what appears to be the name Faulhammer with loops for what could be a German Cross. Could anyone verify if this could be correct?

Also, the shoulderboards have '5' numerol cyphers. Now I know of the 5th Jäger Division but not of a 5th Rgt.?

Thanks in advance for any input.

    Regards
    F.

No soldier with the name Faulhammer is in the official list of DKiG or DKiS - holders.

Are you sure about the name? Here are all Heer soldiers decorated with DKiG / DKiS, last part of family name ending in "hammer".

Farnhammer is a close match, but he was decorated in 1942 as an Obergefreiter in Pi.Btl. 74 (mot)

      Thank you for the input.
yes I believe his name to be correct; herewith the name tags from the tunic and breeches (at that time still a Ltnt).

Of course the loops could also have been intended for a foreign award..?

I believe them to be original and in correspondence to the rest of the loops.

I just bought this tunic and I was wondering if anyone might have any other information. Where would be the best place to look?
          Thank you

Can you show the shoulderboards with cyphers? I wonder to what unit he might have belonged.
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

5th Jäger Regiment was possibly "Kurfürst" Google: Im Herbst 1944 zog dann das Regiment „Kurfürst“ nach Kamenz bei Dresden um. But the Germans kept great records and no DK's awarded to that last name.

Thank you for the all the information. Where would you find the list for Close Combat Clasp recipients. I would like to see if he is on that list.
                  Thanks Kevin
