does any one have any info as to this man.?? he is an rk holder and a luft pilot. any info as to achievments, last rank would be appreciated. did he survive? thanks richard

Born April 6, 1915 in Tennenbronn
Joined Luft with 1./JG 20 (later 7./JG 51). 1st kill May 31, 1940. KC on July 16, 1941 after 26 victories. GC in Gold on October 27, 1943. Aug 1944 moved to JG 1 as Gruppenkommandeur II./JG 1. Flew ME-262 as commander II./JG 7. 63 total victories included 25 four engine bombers. Period of Jan-April 1944 alone scored 5 fighter victories and 13 B-17s and B-24s. Died June 22, 1964 in Freiburg.
