3. / Fla. Btl. (Mot) 615

Hello,

I bought a soldbuch of a man who started the war with 3. / Fla. Btl. (Mot) 615 and later on with 3.(Fla) Panzer Jager Abt. 206
On the internet there is no information where 3. / Fla. Btl. (Mot) 615 fought, so can anyone help me were this unit fought. There was only a little bit information on Lexikon.

The 3rd company of 615 was formed/activated 7-11-41. The Battalion were involved/affiliated with the 1st Ski-Jager Brigade but Tessin does not give more specific assignments.

3/206 was formed from 3/616 Flak, 206 was reported as part of 206 ID and destroyed in June 1944 Witebsk (now Vitebsk, Belarus).

Are you sure he was not in 616 Flak? That would make more sense.

Fla. Btl. (Mot) 615 was in France until September 1943 where it moved to the East.

When it went east it came under 3.Panzerarmee. Lexikon shows it as a component of 3.Pz.Armee from 15th October to at least 6th December 1943.
