    US Question

    All,

I usually look for Germans, so I have no idea what to do next on this guy. He is my sister-in-law's great-uncle. My main desire is to find out what unit he served in. So what would you recommend I do next?
    Marc

Hi Marc,You or your sister in law (probably her ) can write to National Personnel Rcords Center,9700 Page Ave St Louis,MO 63132-5100.To get all the records you need to be a blood relative (so they say).It looks like you have his service # and ssn.It took about 6 months to get my fathers records but it was worth the wait. There is a form you can download from their site to send in.Do a google search to find it.Good Luck.Cheers Steve

      Steve,
Thanks for the info. I have passed it on to my sister-in-law.
