Hi all ,

I've just got a dog tag and soldbuch to a grenadier to this unit from a house clearance .

He was awarded the wound badge in black on 25/8/43 and panzer assault badge in bronze 28/9/44

Shrapnel wounds 6/8/44 , 14/8/44 & 31/3/45

There's a lot of papers with this soldbuch and a wounded tag . Can anyone tell me where this unit fought ?

That is a training/replacements unit. The Stamm company is the core company for new recruits.
He received his dogtag, Soldbuch and basic equipment from this unit.
After that he received training in one of the other company's. After his training he would be send to an actual field-unit.

Can you show pictures of the Soldbuch? Then we can tell you in which field-unit he was, etc.
