Luftwaffe general Kruse

Hi,
I recently acquired this rare LW crusher. It is an upgrade to the rank of general.
Inside the leather band is his name "Kruse".
Can anyone be of help with this name?
Was there a Kruse general in the LW? Seeing this crusher I would like to believe it was a front experienced soldier. Perhaps pilot?

The only KRUSE of the Wehrmacht (of the Heer) are: Hermann Kruse and Kurt Kruse.

But in the LW? I look for LW generals.

There is no Luftwaffe Generals named Krause.

The others are quite right. There was no LW officer of general rank with the name of Kruse. There were LW officers with the name, the highest rank i see after a quick look was oberstleutnant.

That should probably tell you all you need to know about the cap.
