Information on Albert Zapf, RKT

All, looking for information on Albert Zapf, RKT III/Panzergrenadier Rgt, February 23, 1944. I am specifically looking for former units he was attached to.

Kia on 28. 1. 45. in lazarett in Italien als Hptm. u. Btl. Kdr.

On 15 July 1943, a Panzer Grenadier Regiment 129 was in Sicily, in Italy, again erected. This regiment was created from the Panzer Grenadier Regiment 3 Sicily, which was built from the march battalions 63, 65 and 67th the 15th Panzer Grenadier Division The new regiment was subordinated. In December 1943, the Panzer Grenadier Regiment 382 was incorporated into the regiment. On April 14, 1944 the regiment in Panzer Grenadier Regiment 115 was renamed as this regiment resolved previously had the older tradition.
