Questiona about a Jäger Regiment in a lot of itens

Hello Guys,
I received this lot of itens of a member of a Jäger Unit.
There are a par of Schulterstücküberschübe with the number 15 in the green color.
Is it a real item? There is not a Regiment or Battailon 15 in the Jägertruppe. Or this number has another meaning?

I believe that it is the III Battalion, 15th Infantry regiment They carried the traditional green waffenfarbe in the Weimar time period.

Fred is correct. III./Inf.Rgt.15 continued their Jäger tradition into the Stalingrad campaign, however I've not seen photographic proof of the battalion wearing any Jäger symbols.

Any name attached to the group? As a Hauptmann, I may have some info about him.

Sorry Jason, but I don't have informations about the Hauptmann. I bought this lot here in WAF of one guy of the South Africa.
