    Hello,

    I have a photo of a civilian wearing the SS membership pin.
    His name is: Dr. jur. Werner Pries

    Dienstgrad: Major
    Geburtsdatum: 17.05.1896
    Geburtsort: Rendsburg
    Todes-/Vermisstendatum: 04.06.1942
    Todes-/Vermisstenort: Podubje

    Does anyone have more info regarding the unit he was in or any additional info (Perhaps SS officers list)?

    He was Major d.R. in Art.Rgt.225 when killed north-west of "Finew-Lug".
