Are there Feldpostnummer or Vermistenbildlisten for Zollgrenzschutz?

    Hi

I would like to know if there is any way of finding out what the Feldpostnummer for various Zollgrenzschutz units were. Also, did Zoll units have Vermistenbildlisten made after the war? I know the Zoll was not part of the army for most of the war, but of the Ministry of Finance, and their organisation is very obscure to me.
Is there any way of finding out a unit according to location where Zoll troops were stationed?

    Thanks for any opinions

Any specific Zoll units that you are interested in?
There are Zoll units mentioned in the FPN list. But i don't know if all of them are mentioned.
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

        Any more ideas?
How were Zoll units organised? It seems the local detachments were named after the town they were qurtered in?

Sorry mate, I meant St Martin Vésubie, not Breil sur Roya. I always confuse those two villages? Can you turn anything up with St Martin? I find a single hit on google with the keywords I use, and unit info is not provided...

Not sure if its the correct one but:

              (27.9.1943-17.5.1944) 16.10.1943 gestrichen, wurde Fp.Nr. 15917 G,
              (27.9.1943-17.5.1944) 25.10.1943 Ortslazarett Gay,
              (20.12.1944-8.5.1945) 30.1.1945 gestrichen.

              Sammel-Feldpostnummer 15917 (Le Puy)
              G

Thanks fo the help. I dont think either of those are correct. The problem is I think that St Martin is the most common village name in France, there are several dozen, hence the importance of the complete name St Martin Vesubie.
Dijon and le Puy are both very far from Nice. Can you locate any St Martin in the Nice or Digne area?

                  Hi Jean Loup,

happy to help with information about the Zollgrenzschutz. What are you looking for? Only fieldpostnumbers (there were about 300), or Vermißtenbildlisten (there is one for land and one for water customs) or about St. Martin (-Vesubie)?

Do you have any information about the Zollgrenzschutz? Would be interested in sharing information.

                  Best regards,
                  Marc
