    1.Kp./SS Kampfgruppe Wallner

    Hello,
Another relative of mine was in the "freiwilligen legion Niederlande" from januar untill decembre 1944 at the regiment "De Ruyter" from dec 1944 untill april 1945 at the 1.Kp/SS Kampfgruppe "Wallner" and from april 26 untill? at the regiment "General Seyffardt" (freiwilligen legion Niederlande) Does anyone know something about this Kampfgruppe Wallner?
(all this info provided by the Wast)
    Thanks,
    Martin

There was a SS Hauptsturmführer Hans Wallner who commanded Kampfgruppe I/Bataillon formed from the SS Unterführerschule in Radolfzell during 1945....not sure if this is your Kampfgruppe though!?!?!?!

Originally formed as SS Regiment Radolfzell with I. and II. Bataillon in January 1945.....I have seen somewhere reference to Kampfgruppe but not sure where.....

      Hello Ian

      Hi again!
This must be the commander, because in my relatives file from the Wast, is stated that he was at the SS unterfuhrerschule Radolfzell at febr. the 9 in 1945. At april the 26th he was in the Hospital at Rendsburg, after being wounded (3th time Wounded badge in silver) by the fighting round Berlin. He ended the war as a SS Unterscharfuhrer.
      Thanks again Ian!
