this LAH signature I can't read, should be the senior ranked Kp Chef of the original Pz Abt.

Can anyone assist ?

there is a SS-Hstuf.Manfred Schmidt 1.Pz.Kp. Kdr. 2.42

But Ostmedaille doc issued not earlier than July 1944, thus signature from 'Abt. Stellv.' active around above timeframe.
