FP number O36391MS ?

Hi Guys.

I need help with this FP number. The O must be Ostsee so Kriegsmarine. But is it possible to tell something about the unit from the number 36391 - and what does MS mean???

this is not a feldpostnumber but a personal ID number
MS = Minehunter (MinenSucher)

OH year - I was thinking about that as the FP number did not match with KM.

Would this have been the same as the number in his ID tag.

And Minensucher are we talking see mines or could it be KA, as they surly had many mines around their bunkers???

yes, exact same number on his dogtag!

MS is sailing career indication, so it is related to a ship and not CA
