Which boat was this U-Boat man on?

Hello,

I checked the U-boat crew site, but did not find the boat upon that a sailor served on based on his name.

I just received a nice U-boat badge and clasp for a U-boat member August Lange, direct from the grand daughter. She is confident his past name was Lange, but not absolutely certain on the first but believes it was August.

I'd appreciate any help with this very sketchy information.

Peter Monte is the guy you need to ask, he is most helpful. I think they may charge a small fee. They have a lot more names in their archives, it's unfortunate that you do not know which boat Lange served on.
