Writing letters to KC winners

Has anyone had any experience with writing a letter to a Knights Cross recipient? How would one go about doing this?

Sorry. you are a little late. Most are either dead or way up in years and are unable or unwilling to answer autograph requests.

I wrote to almost 1,500 of them in the 70's, 80's & 90's. I met many, many of them at the OdR reunions back then. You are way to late to start now however as the few living RKT's are in their 90's and don't & can't respond any more. sorry Tom
