Hopefully, I don't get this screwed up but an "SS officer with mirrored Totenkopf collar tabs!", has them on both collars as opposed to the deaths head on one side and a rank tab on the other.
Please, put them on the SS Forum. You should create a bit of a stir. Also, I am PM'ing you.

It says Obersturmführer Wegner......initially the only SS Ostuf. I can find called Wegner with Totenkopf is Gustav Wegner, later Sturmbannführer!

Are they "2" numerals on the first photo?
