Infanterie-Regiment (mot) 900

Long shot, but i'm searching for more info on Infanterie-Regiment (mot) 900, which was part of Lehr-Brigade (mot) 900.
1941-1942 timeframe. Are there any books on this unit? Does anyone have any documents?
I got a soldbuch of a soldier in that unit, but it has only entries from 1941.
I couldn't find him on the Volksbund website. He could have been POW or anything else.
But who knows.. maybe i find some info about him in a document or book.
His lastname was Greif, i think his firstname is Werner but i have to decipher that first. He was born on 30-08-1921.

Yes his name is Werner Greif.

The book "Die Panzer Lehr Division 1944-45" by Franz Kurowski (1964, reprinted 1995) covers Infanterie Lehr Brigade..... I can not remember in what detail but it does cover this unit as it later became part of the Pz.Lehr Division.

A good book that will give you some good information about Lehr-Brigade (mot.) 900 fighting in the early days of the Moscow Offensive is The Defense of Moscow 1941: The Northern Flank by Jack Radey & Charles C. Sharp.
I have a Wehrpass to a member of 7./Infanterie-Rgt (mot.) 900 who was killed during that heavy fighting near Kalinin but unfortunately the campaign pages only have the brief notation 'Einsatz im Osten'.

Allthough this soldbuch doesn't have much entries, it raises my interrest as it came with his father's WWI soldbuch and his mothers WWII Kennkarte.
So the soldbuch somehow made it back home. What happend? i probably never find out.

Just got a response from the seller, turns out she is related to the soldier.
She told me that he died in the war. I asked her if she knows more about it.
