G'day all. I picked up a gas mask with recently '548 Landesschutzen-Kp. Gutersloh' written on a tag sewn to a strap, is anyone able to give me any information on this please? Thanks in advance for any help!

Here are some information on a guy's grandfather who was also
member of the "Landesschützen Gütersloh":
"Habe gerade weitere Daten zu meinem Großvater von der WAST erhalten:
Geburtsdatum/born: 02.08.1898 in Neuenkirchen.
Einberufung: 08.04.1942 Einheit Landesschützen-Kompanie Gütersloh.
Erkennungsmarke: -1488- Landesschützen Kp. Gütersloh
