I have a tunic grouping belonging to leutnant Gunther kirchdorfer 26/12/1922-03/01/1945 grenad.regt. But his boards and collar tabs are white for the infantry is this normal for a mid to late war grenadier? Any further information is very helpful thanks

Grenadier regiments wore white piping. They were motorized Infantry units.

In 1942 all Infanterie Regiments had a name change to Grenadier-Regiment. Grenadier Waffenfarbe is white - same as Infanterie.
