been trying to research this chap for 10yrs even writing to the german archives,but no leads,he was an ss guard at buchenwald in 1939 any leads would be highly appreciated gents,thank you

This type of person is hard to research, as even if you manage to contact his family, they will probably be unwilling to respond to any requests.
The German archives usualy only have very basic info, and as you know, it is only given to relatives. -
thanks for the reply jean,i know mate,shame isnt it, but id love to know if he survived the war,as he was in berlin in 45,not a good place to be
