Hello All,

I need your help to get on with htis.

I have a nice report written by Armearzt Dr. Franke, concerning the period 21.11.1941 to 28.4.1942. It is all abou the medical services and their hardships etc during the fighting.

But I cannot find any doctor Franke..?? ..maybe some of you can help me..?..and maybe to show me where I should look..?..

Well, maybe, I remember that I have heard the same. But it should be possible to find a Korpsarzt..?..he would be the highest medical person in the Armeekorps, and normally generalarzt..?..surely it would be likely that he was named..or what..?

Medical officers are not on the normally used published ranklists, but you are quite right, a chief medical officer for a corps or army should be findable.

From the little i can find Oberstarzt Dr. Franke took up the position of Korpsarzt on 11.06.41 and he didn't make general rank
