    Ehrenblatt spange award details

I want to find for what action and the date of it for the award to Oberstleutnant Friedrich Stichtenoth, noted in his Soldbuch is dated as May 13th 1.944 and he was promoted to Oberstleutnant on May 1st, 1.944. The stamp validating the award is from Panzergrtenadier Regiment 128.

Also unit when he was awarded the DKiG, noted in his Soldbuch December 24st, 1.942.

    Thanks

    Angel
Looking for DKiG Heer winner Soldbuch who also won the TDB and/or CCC, specially in Silver.

Unit for the DKiG was Pz.Gren.Rgt 361.
Date for the Ehrenblattspange on the Ordenstrager is 17th May 1944 with Pz.Gren.Rgt 128. He is listed as a Major for the award.

My guess would be that the later date is the date of publication of the ehrenblatt in which he was named.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

Any option to know for which day he was awarded the Ehrenblattspange?

Maybe is a relation of the Dispatch Mentions? A lot of entries in Wikipedia has the date of the action and what was said.

          Thanks to both

Angel - I have seen a few examples of Ehrenblattspange winners whose exploits were reported in the newspaper. Since the award was so substantial, it makes sense that recipients' actions were reported to the public, especially in 1944 and later when the Wehrmacht's fortunes were so bad. So, perhaps some searching in the archives of newspapers in the city or area in which the recipient was from could give you the answer you need.
