i came across the words " did croats train in Breda, Holland" or something similar,,( by chance) recently while searching randomly on the internet..
i joined Wehrmacht-Awards.com Militaria Forums to try and reply , but now i cant seem to find it anywhere ??
can anyone point me in the right directon? i am not too smart when it comes to computers, but after interviewing my 89 yr old grandfather recently, who never spoke about the war untill now, he mentioned that he joined the croatian navy to train as a apprentice mechanic in 1943, in Sisak, Croatia.,
but was then sent without question, to the german navy to train in Breda holland, ..
id love to read more about any info that may be here about what went on there, and if possible, maybe even find military records about his time there?
