I would be greatful if there is a member on this site who lives in Berlin and might be able to take a few pictures for me in the area where Otto Kornprobst of the Panzer Regiment 118 was killed in action.(He had received the Knights Cross in March 1945).Kornprobst was killed on May 3rd 1945 at "Spandau on the street leading to the bridge over the canal".I have a number of his last letters written to his father Franz,also a Knights Cross holder. I presume this action would have been one of the many fierce little battles fought in and around Berlin during the last days of the war. I hope to be in Berlin next year...hence the interest.
