    Hello everyone,
I am wondering if anyone can help me find information on the following US Navy Sailor who served in the Pacific during WW2:
    LA SAUCE, H.J. (rank) MoMM2c
can anyone tell me if the rank stands for "motor machinist mate 2nd class" ?
    Thank you,

OK, looks like the rank is for motor machinists mate 2n class. Does anyone have any suggestions where I can access more information about this sailor? I tried NARA, but its confusing. Thanks

Paul you might be better off asking in a forum focusing on the US military, also try asking in the US sub-forum here.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

ancestry.com usually has WWII USN Muster Rolls, and those will give locations of sailors ( Ships, Islands, Bases )
