    Kapt.z.S. ID help

I'm trying to pin down this Kapitan Zur See. The photo was taken in Tromsø, North Norway, when i don't know, but as the place wasn't exactly teeming with officers of this rank i'm making an educated guess that this is one of the Seekommandant Tromsø. He also seems to be one of those reactivated WWI officers.

So working on that assumption the choice of officers are:
Hermann v.Bredow (unlikely as he was only kommandant for 3 months in 1940)
Jerchel (i don't know the first name)
    Wilibald Schmidt
    Gottfried Krüger

So which of these got the EKII and I during WWI? (all of them knowing my luck).

A thousand thanks esteemed keeper of the books of knowledge

Our man is definitely in Tromsø. Here's another shot of him having a look at a captured Renault FT-17. This location i have down to the square meter as the 'Troms Felleskjøp' building is still in existence.

The shot of Bredow in 'Deutschlands Admirale' shows him with dark hair and certainly no ekII spange on his ribbon bar. If that's supposed to be him at 47 then he had one hell of a tough newspaper round as a youngster

I like the idea of Schmidt, he's one of the most likely suspects being kommandant from oct.42 to Nov.43 and that does look like a 57\58 year old.

don't suppose you know what Schmidt was up to between 39 and 42 and forgive my ignorance but what's a ® medal?

          Ah, i see.

These, along with the large quantities of captured material were brought to Norway after the defeat of France. The French at Narvik only had a few Hotchkiss H-38.
Of course these WWI vintage tanks were no use at all to front line units but they were used for rear area security and as static pillboxes.

Actually, if you look at the first photo you'll see a sign to the left of the door. The first word looks to me like Dienststelle? and i was thinking that the last line could be an FP.number. 0003(?)x but i can't quite make anything fit from the 000xx range
