    Kreta 1941 (Sterbebild collecting)

I know people collect Sterbebild’s for different reasons but for many years' mine has been relating to the battle of Crete 1941, or veterans of this campaign that perished later in the war. Here is my collection of Gebirgsjager’s .
Just wondered if anyone else collects Sterbebild’s relating to specific units or campaigns?

        I'm well thanks Martin.

I have a few para one's as well but they are not all related to a specific campaign. I was interested to know if anyone else is collecting Sterbebild's relating to campaigns?

        Regards
        David

          Hi David

          You have a fantastic collection.

I have some little deathcards about Kreta. You should have these for sure

I wish I have the names of all the grbirgsjägers killed in action in Crete

          Best regards

            Hi David!
Great collection and very interesting idea! It got me thinking about collecting Sterbebilds connected with the Demjansk battle...

Went to Crete this years summer and found a very old and rusty British helmet at Hora Sfakia, the place the Brits were evacuated!

Crete is a great place to have holiday, going to come back there next year!
