Help needed from members in Germany or Czech Republic

    Guys,

I am currently researching a document grouping to a soldier who started his military career pre-war and was KIA in 1945.

He was KIA in the Czech Republic and is buried in Valasske Mezirici.

He is also listed on a memorial in his hometown of Höchstberg, Kreis Vulkaneifel, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.

I am hoping that someone can help me out with a photo of his grave and the memorial.

I would really appreciate it and would pay a small fee to cover gas and a pint.

    Thanks,
    Jared

    Hello,
I could do that for you if you wouldn't mind to wait 3-4 weeks. I live cca 50km from Valaske Mezirici, but next two weeks I will not be able to go there.

              Jasan,

Thank you for the pictures. They are great!! If I can ever return the favor in any way, please let me know.

              Gerdan,

Thank you for the link. I believe that is the WW1 monument though. i looked around for the WW2 monument on the same site, but couldn't find it anywhere. Any idea if there are pictures of that one online anywhere?

Thanks again for your help guys!!

                Sorry Gerdan
This Höchstberg (and the pictured monument) is a part of Gundelsheim in the state Baden-Württemberg. Not the one in the Vulkaneifel.
The right can be seen here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%C3%B6chstberg
