1. Lebenslauf:

Aufgestellt am 1. Januar 1941 in Berlin-Tempelhof als Ergänzungs- und Ausbildungsstab für die Fallschirmtruppe. Anfang 1943 nach Nimes verlegt. Am 3. April 1944 zur 1. Fallschirmarmee umgewandelt.

I've had a couple of Soldbuch and Wehrpaß to this unit and they were in Africa during that period.....forget the exact dates but I think it was Autumn 1942 when they transferred there.

Didn't you have a group years ago that you wrote an article about in "The armourer"?

Yes I wrote an article 10 years ago to a fallschrimjager who was in the 6th battalion. this soldbuch the guy was in the 2nd btl.

just a mention the the guy I wrote about we had corresponded for years he eventually sent me his para cloth badge, and award docs for the para badge, and afrika cuff title,
