This is very interesting that the use of this is still unknown from the way it looks in the link Nidhøggr posted. Thanks for your help guys. I will post in the tinnies section in a few days just in case something does come up here.....

This is a "Members Pin" for the "D.V.G. (Deutsche Volks Gruppe) WESTMARK (LOTHR.)....Gau Westmark (Alsace/Loraine) pre-war, while area itself was part of France....large German community/this was the NSDAP elements....would have become a "traditions pin" after the area was "reabsorbed" by the Reich in 1940/41. (and regular Party Pin the "norm").

Apparently "found" in large numbers.....(fairly common).....and now heavily copied.....seeing the reverse is important!
