Formed 26.8.1939 in Dresden, Wehrkreis IV, 1.4.1940 transferred to Kamenz, 29.9.1942 divided intoErsatz- und Ausbildungs-Abteilung. The Kraftfahr-Ausbildungs-Abteilung 4 was transferred on 13.3.1944 to Grimma and
Kraftfahr-Ersatz-Abteilung 4 transferred to Leipzig during 1943.
