Heinrich von Vietinghoff Stieler's Hand Atlas

    Hi,
Since 1959 my family has been in possession of a signed & dated Stieler's Hand atlas which was given to my father by an Italian family, he was told that the atlas was recovered by them when a nearby headquarters/command post was overrun & that they believed that the atlas had belonged to Kesselring. I now believe that the atlas belonged to Von Vietinghoff. The family have offered to gift the atlas to the Imperial War Museum in London who have declined the offer due to the uncertainty of its provenance. Please see my father explaining the story in the YouTube link below. If you have any information that might help me to know more about the atlas of if you know of a (possibly German) War Museum that might find the atlas of interest please let me know.
