Wound Badge Question

Just wondering but say you got the black wound badge and then later got awarded the silver. What would happen to the black wound badge? Would you keep it?

Yes. It's the same with all combat awards where only the highest grade can be worn, such as the Close Combat Clasp, the recipient keeps the earlier award.
