hello, I got a grouping for a Emil Kroger of the Luftschutz and It has a few small documents and a Luftschutz-Dienftbuch which I was told was the equivalent of a soldbuch in the Wehrmacht.

I would like a translation of what the gist of the book and two documents are saying. He was awarded the KVK 1st class, does it mention how he won it?, any mention of where he served and what he did during the war and anything else that is in the paperwork

2nd and 3rd document

His first unit was S.H.D. (LuftschutzHilfsDienst) Abt.(eilung) mot.(orisiert) 22 in Münster/Westfalia

from 1.4.40 - 18.12.41

His second unit was ( Luftschutz) Sanitäts-Zug I in Hamm/Westfalen from 19.12.1944 on.

His rank was Hauptgruppenfüher since 30.1.41 and he was promoted to Stabsgruppenführer

11.12.42.

His private profession was "Gastwirt" - innkeeper.

The KVK 1st class entry I did not see.

The 2nd document is his draft notice for Münster/Westfalia

The 3rd document is a letter which sents him immediately from Einsatzgruppe III to the

Sanitätszug I. The order came from Dr. med. Wilms. In the same letter they express their

deepest gratitude for his service with Einsatzgruppe III.
