Information on a soldier!

This is not my filed, i need some help.
Anybody can check Karl Exner on Volksbund site? ( I try it but i can't use that site)
He is burried on 05.07.1944 somewhere in Hungary.

I appreciate any information!

The planned transfer to the cemetery in Budaörs was therefore not possible. <O></O>
His name is only recorded there at the cemetery.<O</O

I cannot find his grave in the cemetery.

the soldier Exner KIA 1944 has not an idividual grave. He is burried among others in the Sammelfriedhof (collective grave) at Budaörs.

So he should only be listed in the list with all burried soldiers in that cemetery.

Yes,I knew that.I was there today morning, But i cant find his name in the cemetery list... Eric told that, he is not there. What is the truth?

Hello,

I found the Sammelfriedhof location, it's south-west of Budapest.
The town you are looking for is difficult to trace. I think that Kalessa is a form of writing for the town of Kalocsa.

Kalocsa is located south of Budapest. Maybe other forum members have other info?


I attached 2 maps with both locations.
What do you own from this obergefreiter Exner?

I was there in soldatenfriedhof at Budaörs.
He is buried here, but the question is not this.
The question is that, where did he die, Kalocsa's german name is Kalotscha, not Kalessa.

I have some pics on his funeral....
